Blazing start at stud for Swahili Eile*.....

Swahili Eile*'s first runner is at Southland and he is a headturner! RCK King Tut, owned by breeder, Roger Knauff, wowed the fans at Southland Thursday night in his official school. He won by a whopping 9.5 lengths in the fastest schooling time of the day! That is no easy feat for a rookie pup. Roger has two litters by Eile breaking in at both Southland and Tri-State. Swahili Eile* appears to be throwing the exact type of runner we anticipated he would throw.....pace AND power which is a rare and deadly combination on the track for the opposition. I would not hestitate to use Eile for tracks like Southland, Tri-State, Derby Lane, Dubuque or Bluffs Run. I honestly think he will throw his fair share of pacey middle distance runners too.

Congrats to our friends over in Templemore and Thurles! The Kenny family is celebrating tonight as Group Skater, a full brother to stud dog, Group Rooster*, had a track record run for the 750 at Shelbourne Park tonight! I was honored to be part of Skater's celebration in February when he won the Examiner 750 at Clonmel. Skater is also a litterbrother to my Group Singer*....a nice moneymaker for me at Palm Beach. Singer was purchased specifically to be a brood bitch. We are hoping and praying for a marathon race to be put together by the Palm Beach racing department....Singer is a shoe in for top honors. All I can say is this breeding of Group Special to Top Honcho was special indeed. What a family of runners came from the matings.

Iceman Brutus*' first litter here is due this coming Wednesday. Breeder Tim Allen has told me his 3 weeks old Brutus pups are extremely large for their age and he is very impressed with them. Like Eile I believe Brutus will throw pace and power into his pups. He is the top ranked Toms The Best son in the US.

Pictured is our greyhound adoption guru, Cindy Small of Greyhound Crossroads. Her an Doug are like family around here and this is their pre-adopted pup, Lucky. Lucky is the son of Ardkill Jamie* and owned by Henry Howe. Henry is allowing them to give Lucky his registered name too. They were so surprised when I told them the news! We look forward to many happy days with the Small family and their puppy, Lucky!

Blasting out of the gate into the big field are some of the Maryville Rumble*ex Greys Tarmac litter owned by the D'Arcy Kennel. These pups are the most promising youngsters on the farm right now. They will be leaving to train Sept. 1st. We expect great things from this litter at Derby Lane!

Here is Denny Curry with his Fine Silver* and Farloe Black* pup. Denny raised Bouncing Bucky in this very spot so we expect great things from this pair of pups! No pressure on you, Denny! ;-)
Fine Silver* pups are continuing their winning ways at major tracks! We are so proud of his pups accomplishments thus far. I admit they do break in a bit awkward but if you give them the time they need, look out...you have a winner on your hands!
My Group Singer* won a route at Palm Beach for me. The wee lass has about paid for herself now. I am having a great time owning her. I bought her as a brood and really never expected to race her here having never seen an aldritt lure in her life....she is 14 for 18 in the money! I would take a kennel full of dogs like her anyday! Absolute class act Singer is! She is slated to be bred to Hometown Boy upon retirement!
Our hauler, Dave Sullivan is switching his schedule to run EVERY MONDAY from West Virginia to here so please call by Sunday if you want to book your brood!!!!!!!

Fine Silver* pup wins 3 in a row!

Oya Country Boy has been knocking on the "win" door repeatedly at Dubuque. He has a fistful of place finishes. In true "late bloomer" style he found his groove and the son of the great Fine Silver* has now knocked off THREE wins in a row at the racino track! Mardi Gras just finished up their meet and I assume Oya Mary Ann, (grade A) will be joining her litterbrother. More Fine Silver* pups have made their track debuts.....namely the "Dbulls" pups. Dick Bullard's litter out of Sassys Lil Sally is one to watch! The whole litter is solid, top to bottom. Most have broken their maidens in their first outting! I can see this being a top grade litter.

Newborns! We had NINE Stan's Boy Flyers born yesterday. Co-owner Roger Knauff and I could not be more pleased. They are out of a rare two year old Fortress* female, PJ's Richmond. Boy I sure hope there are a few Ozzies or Hometown Boys in there!

Iceman Brutus* is a dad! Tim Allen reported that his fine bitch, Fuzzys Derby whelped out 7 healthy Brutus pups. RCK Sundown is due 7/29 with our Brutus pups. Please see his ad in this month's Review!

Maryville Rumble*'s daughter, Hanks Stylin, won in the Night Of Stars. Congrats to Henry Howe on her big win!

We have purchased Lady Wire (Iruska All Star ex Noahs Pollywog) as a brood and expect her on the farm Wednesday. We purchased her littersister at the Fall Nationals for Champions Racing Team. Noahs Pollywog is a littermate to Boone's Fishnkid. We felt she would be a good choice for any of our imported sires.

The Sword Of Eile is now handslipping in the mornings under Bernie McClellen. We expect him to officially school in about a month or so.

I hope everyone is enjoying a fun and safe Fourth of July!

Don't forget CHAT on Sundays at 5pm EST.
9 healthy Stan's Boy Flyer pups whelped! Group Singer* wins @ Palm Beach. More Fine Silver* pups fly!!!!!
