Pups on the way!

JT's Petey Girl is definately very pregnant with wee Ardkill Jamie pups. She isn't due until April 19th! It also appears that KB's Curly Q is in whelp to Fine Silver* for owner Henry Howe. Greys Pistolfire was bred to Swahili Eile* and is due in May.

Unfortunately our puppy haul was cancelled by our hauler and all the puppies leaving to train will now not leave until April 8th.

Joey Lingle is giving our Swahili Eile* pup, Blade, very high marks. He said he looks to be a special one. He is turning some pretty good times on his schooling track and still has 2 or 3 months left of training!!

Hometown Boy just picked up a couple more breedings this week. With less than 10 vials left on Stan's Boy Flyer you need to be looking at his sons.

Iceman Brutus* is officially retired in the UK according to the GBGB and the English Studbook. We are now making final preparations for his exportation to the US. Flights are being looked at right now and final paperwork is being completed in the UK and will be transferred to the NGA here. Thanks to everyone who has enquired about Brutus! He will be here shortly...I promise!!!

Don't forget Wednesday and Sunday night International Chat!!! See you there!!!

Pictures are two Group Rooster* pups owned by Dick Ciampa. Snoopy and Bluto. This litter is absolutely stunning.

Fine Silver* pups are starting to school on all over. Word from owner, Cindy Unrein is that one of her Silver pups out of that great bitch of hers, Molly, ran the fastest time of the day at Abilene Greyhound Park for a full 5/16ths in prep for the upcoming National Meet. Good luck to Cindy!

Dave Sullivan made a special trip down yesterday and was fully loaded. Make sure you call EARLY to get booked on for his Wednesday regular trip. He leaves out very early so you need to call by 6pm on Tuesday to make his weekly run! We are absolutely at full capacity here with broods in for implants. I think everything must be breaking season all at once! Spring has sprung! Don Jairrett will be running up here on Tuesday of this week with broods from FL/GA. give him a ring if you have anything to throw on his rig!

Also...please take note of our collar tab link. We are the exclusive US suppliers of USCHI collars and leads from the UK. You know those great Irish style collars everyone wants to have....well you can now order them! They feature handstitched english bridle leather and can custom stamp your dogs name or kennel name on the lead and or collar! The buckle on leads are PERFECT for race day collar/lead as they cannot be lost/unsnapped. Simply buckle on your raceday collar/lead and you are ready for the track. We have outfitted all of our stud dogs in these collars as well. You can see examples on the collar tab link. Here is Ozzie The Man in a USCHI collar and lead set!

Good luck to JS Xtrememachine who has made the finals of the World Classic for the late John Henry Jr. as well as Deco Hesaway who is undefeated thus far in stakes rounds at Valley for owner, Bob Rider. Both are the offspring of the great Maryville Rumble*. Rumble continues to be the most dominant and influential import in this country.

Here is another great photo from "Juppe" of the D'Arcy Kennel of our own Group Singer* running in her first C 3/8ths race at Derby Lane - her first start in the US.

Don't forget Sunday night chat starting at 5pm EST/10 pm for our Irish friends.

Singer hits the track, Rumblers in stakes qualifiers...

Group Singer* has now ran two trials at Derby Lane. She must run one more trial and then will be on to officially race. She will get moved to the backside as soon as Derby Lane will allow her. The D'Arcy Kennel has done an excellent job transferring her from the outside lure to the aldritt. Many thanks to Juppe for the incredible photo!

Although there are Maryville Rumble* pups in top grade all over the place, there are two special ones this week. The first being JS Xtrememachine whose first round win in the World Classic is on our homepage and the other B's No Deal who is in the March Madness Countdown at Southland. BOTH of these pups have won two rounds in a row. JS Xtrememachine soundly beat Lincoln win leader Ballymac Flight* while No Deal went box to wire and made it look easy. The sad news is that JS Xtrememachine's owner was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday afternoon. We pass our condolences to the family and hope that Xtrememachine can win the World Classic in his memory.

Our Fine Silver* pups have been AM schooling at Tri-State and word from our trainer is that they are running short and doing very well.

Iceman Brutus* videos are up on his sire page! Word from Lance Burford is that Brutus has a vet appointment tomorrow morning and will have a health check up and his semen analysed before his journey over.

Dave Sullivan has been running every week and this week he is filling up fast. Please call Dave or Tracey by 5 pm on Tuesday if you are putting a brood or racer on the truck!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!

New stud arriving soon!

The Iceman cometh.....Iceman Brutus will be joining our stud barn in the coming weeks. He is listed as Toms The Best #4 top offspring out of over 5300 pups! This is yet another top sireline that will be added to our line-up. We look forward to working with Lance and Pam Burford on promoting Brutus' stud career in the States. This 630m track record holder broke the legendary Westmead Hawk's record as well was winning two major Group 1 finals. We will make every effort to expedite Brutus' semen to all facilities starting with Dr. Law. If you have an immediate need please contact me immediately and we will ship semen as soon as Brutus arrives and paperwork with the NGA is in order.
Maryville Rumble* pups have been winning several top grade races a weekand we now believe he is on target to be a top 10 sire in 2009, possibly even as high as a top 6 sire.
Our Fine Silver* pups out of JR's Prelude are now all at tracks. The last three, including my Liquid Silver have arrived safely at Tri-State. They will be running for the Country Roads Kennel.
Group Singer* (full sister to Group Rooster*) is on for official schooling at Derby Lane on Tuesday. Veteran trainer, Mick D'Arcy is reporting that after a full 550 at Derby Lane she isn't even getting going and not hardly a pant after her school. She is indeed the strong stayer we knew she was and we look forward to her hitting the backside at Derby Lane in the near future.
More broods have come in season. Greys Pistolfire is in season for me and will be bred to Swahili Eile* unless Brutus arrives in time. Then I would give him a go. Flying Larned is in season for me and Tim Allen and we will be breeding her to Farloe Black* as this has been a planned breeding. KB's Curly Q was just bred to Fine Silver* for Henry Howe. We have one lone bitch left on the entire farm waiting to come in season. We should know shortly too if Greys Tarmac and Jt's Petey Girl are in whelp.
Don't forget our new hauler, Dave Sullivan is now running every WEDNESDAY from both West Virginia tracks to here and back on Thursday AM. His daughter, Tracey, is also able to hold rehabs and retirees in the Wheeling area! Contact info is on the homepage.
Don't forget Int'l Chat at 5 pm EST on Sunday and Wednesday evenings!!!

Puppies and Winners!

One of our most anticipated and longest planned litters has finally arrived! Oooga Chockah whelped a litter of eight Farloe Black* pups last night. The queen of the backside meets one of Ireland's fastest ever. This litter is SOLD OUT. This litter is bred in the purple and we have extremely high expectations. Congrats to all the new owners of these incredible pups.

The Fine Silver* litter out of DC Brenda Lee are now a week old! It was a long few days in the beginning but all pups are large and thriving. We will be bringing home the three pups that have been with the german shepherd bitch this week. I have discussed the size and economics of the litter with my partner in them and we have decided we will sell half the litter at tattoo. This is Brenda Lee's one and only litter. She is being spayed. Pregnancy is very hard on her and this whelp took it's toll and it is in Brenda's medical best interest to stop with this litter here. Brenda was an AA at Lincoln and is a littersister to stud dogs Bouncing Bucky and Trent Lee. Price will be determined in the next month or so. If you are serious in making an offer please contact me. There are 7 males and 5 females and we will be keeping 3 of each.

Huge congrats to our Furnace Fan (Maryville Rumble ex PA's Shawnee Gal) owned by Doug Allen who is now in AA at Tri-State. Another one of our's, Selfish Crime, just missed going to A today at PB also for Doug Allen. Congrats Doug!!! Earlier in the week he had another win by our John Mceuen (Fortress Blue ex Bug Bite). On the international front, Group Hiroller has made the 575 final at Galway for Joe and Mary Kenny and trainer, David Hanley. Good luck to our friends over in Templemore, Co. Tipperary! Hiroller's fans here will be cheering her on!

Our new hauler, David Sullivan, has the title to the dog truck and is waiting on tags and should be rolling next week (hopefully). He will pick up at Wheeling and Tri-State and head to the farm. Don Jairrett will be picking up in Florida on Wednesday and heading this way with any broods needing implants!

Weather has the whirly gig a mess right now and we have been unable to school. Things should be drying out this week and we will hopefully get some schooling done.

News from the D'Arcy Kennel......Group Singer* has completely settled in and is almost to race form. She is chasing the inside lure like a "screeching demon" as Kate put it. She is still running short in the AM's but they are adding distance week by week. She IS a backside dog so we don't expect a ton of early foot out of her. We are very proud of her accomplishments thus far. Mick D'Arcy knows how to handle these dogs who have run an outside lure and get them working the inside. It is a process but in Singer's case it looks a success! I hope she makes her fans in Templemore and Thurles proud!
