It's all about PUPPIES!

I have been and returned from Ireland and the Irish Derby. Had a good time with friends on Derby night. It was great to see Clare Hanley and watch Group Skater run. His littersister, Group Singer*, has been retired and is now home here awaiting mommy duties. We are leaning towards breeding her to Kiowa Sweet Trey.
At the track........Cashel (Maryville Rumble* ex Oneco Mais Oui) broke in at Palm Beach for the B&B Kennel winning two straight. He is a very genuine dog and never gives up. DDM Snoopy (Group Rooster* ex JR's Prelude) has been extremely game as well for owners Dick Ciampa and Mark Collins. She has rarely been out of the money since breaking in and shows both early speed as well as bottom. Finella, owned by Ron Lies and myself had trouble in schools at Southland as well as her brother, DDM's Dave Burns. However, veteran trainer, Jeff Lovely saw the potential and took them off. She schooled back on with both finishing 3rd and showed BOTTOM! Something our finishing trainer, Pat Begley, said they had! They are now on for maiden runs and Jeff is very pleased with them. They are Group Rooster's and as Clare Hanley says...they are like a fine wine and get better with age. Next we have the litter of Farloe Black ex Oooga Chockah.....one owned by Dick Ciampa and Mark Collins is headed to Wheeling for Douglas Kennel as well as his sister, Damphyr, owned by Linda Russi and I. Webmaster, Brian Carpenter's Oooga Chica is at Jacksonville and Barry Stanton's Valorific is with the D'Arcy Kennel at St. Pete. Four different finishers finished this litter...it will be interesting to see how they all pan out. Dick and Mark's Ardkill Jamie ex JT's Petey Girl pup is headed to Southland as well as Linda Russi's and my pup. Speaking of Petey Girl.....congrats to her and Maryville Rumble* on their son, CRT Tigerudog! He has won multiple grade A's and this weekend won a stakes/feature race! The Ardkill Jamie pups are also out of her. The best news is she is in whelp to Group Rooster* and due this coming MONDAY! Reserve your pup now! I owned Petey's mom as well and this is a proven line that throws multiple grade A's per litter!

We offer full boarding facilities as well as being an NGA Facility which includes semen collection/storage as well as frozen implants.

Group Singer* retires

Group Singer*, full-sister to Group Rooster*, is home. We retired Singer at 4 yrs. in grade B. She has won top class in three different countries. I have decided to breed her to Kiowa Sweet Trey when she breaks season. I am basing this decision off the Rooster pups at Tri-State out of Craigie Sweetwon. The pedigree is flipped. Group Singer chases harder than any greyhound I have ever seen. I am happy to have Singer home and thank the Kennys and Hanleys for selling her to me.

WWW Tracey Neal is 48 hours from her due date and looks to have about an 8 pup litter in her. She has been eating well and the pups have dropped down so we hope for an uneventful whelp. I will post pics and the number of pups after they are born.

New Brood acquistion

We have recently acquired Greyt Star a 3yr. old Fortress* female. Her as well as littermates have run AA at Phoenix and Southland tracks. She was retired recently and arrived here yesterday. She will be bred to the last vial of Loxahatchee Dash.
Track news....the Group Rooster* ex Jr's Prelude litter is now all at tracks. 1 is at Wheeling, 2 at Southland and 1 at Palm Beach.
WWW Tracey Neal is becoming very uncomfortable in the last days of her pregnancy. We should see the pups a week from today! These should be outstanding Southland/Derby Lane prospects. If you have not glanced at Tracey's pedigree, please do. She is out of one of the strongest damlines in recent history...the Win Jet line. Her dam's sister is the mom of Ben Awhile and of course Kiowa Sweet Trey needs no introduction. There is no weakness in the upcoming litters pedigree and the damlines have produced All Americans and multiple stakes and Derby class pups.

More puppies on the way....

WWW Tracey Neal is due in 12 days to Group Rooster*. She appears to have a belly full and we will offer a few for sale. Two pups in this litter are already spoken for. Check out the replays from Tri-State from RCK Titan and RCK Medusa. They are Rooster pups who are also out of a Kiowa Sweet Trey female. Tracey was a very very nice tracker and is impeciably bred. These pups should be suited for Southland, Derby Lane, Tri-State, Dubuque style power tracks.

TK Wasabi is due in late September to Farloe Black*. I have thought he might be a good choice for Dodgem females and based off of Tomco Meteor's success....made it to AA at Wheeling in 10 starts.....I decided to go to him with Wasabi. Wasabi broke in at PB running in the low 29's her first outtings. This is her first litter. We will also offer a few of these for sale if she whelps a viable litter.

Jt's Petey Girl is in season and will be bred to Group Rooster* for her last litter before retiring into my house. Her first litter has top grade pups by Maryville Rumble*. I would expect more power type dogs than her Rumbles were a bit more speed.

Congrats to Roger Knauff on his Group Rooster* litter breaking in at Tri-State! Also to Ly Do on his impressive Farloe Black* pup, Tomco Meteor in AA at Wheeling.

Our Rooster pups have been held up from going to the track by cancelled hauls. *Supposedly* they will leave for Southland on Thursday and will be with the Jeff Lovely kennel. These pups were finished out by Pat Begley. Our Rumble pups out of Oneco Mais Oui will be heading to B&B Kennel at Palm Beach as soon as space is available. Our Farloe Blacks, Ardkill Jamies and Iceman Brutus' are in training at Pat Begleys now.

With record breaking heat and the third hottest summer here in recorded history we haven't been doing any whirly gigging and sprint as soon as it is light enough to see.

I will be in Ireland from September 7-12 and will be attending the Irish Derby again this year. I hope to see all my Irish friends there! Not sure if I will go to Harolds Cross friday night....we are really wanting to take in some of the music at the pubs!

To my clients....please plan accordingly as the lab will be closed 9/7-12 for vacation. If your brood comes in season from 9/5 or later you can send her in. Anything that comes in season between 8/24-9/4 will be most likely need to be done whilst I am away. I am sorry for the inconvenience but I have not had a day off in a year.

Hope everyone is well and you are enjoying your summer!
